Tatyana Gvelava wins "Wise Leader Award" at the Global Women Entrepreneurs Summit

The World Women Entrepreneurs Summit (WWES) took place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) from 10-11 March 2023, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, "Mother of the Nation".

The summit was attended by 400 delegates from 38 countries including representatives of women's business communities from Russia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Brazil, Bahrain, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. The summit was also attended by a number of distinguished guests in person, including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the United Arab Emirates, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, representatives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Al Ketbi, and Minister of State in the UAE Government, His Excellency Dr. Sheikha Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, and President of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abdullah Al Mazrouei.

The Russian-Arab Business Council and the All-Russian General Organization "Businesswomen" organized the participation of the Russian delegation in the summit, which consisted of 66 leaders of the business community from 13 regions of the Russian Federation.

On the sidelines of the summit, the work of the Global Association for the Development of Entrepreneurship was held by the Businesswomen Council (WBC), which was established by the Arab-Russian Business Council and the Union of Arab Chambers in cooperation with the Emirates Businesswomen Council (EWBC).

Delegates from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan also signed their countries to join the WBC. The Russian side also presented a joint initiative between the Arab-Russian Business Council and the Union of Arab Chambers, which is a multifunctional information technology platform, which is supposed to serve as a tool for strengthening Russian-Arab trade and economic relations.

The awards ceremony was also organized to encourage and honor the most active and prominent leaders of the international women's communities, where His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the United Arab Emirates, personally handed Tatyana Gveleva the "Wise Leader Award", emphasizing her outstanding leadership qualities and her significant contribution to WWES and the promotion of Russian-Emirati dialogue.
